Taxonomic remark Kabata (1988) noted that A. canadensis was treated as a junior synonym of A. stizostethii on the authority of Meehean (1940) and Cressey (1972, 1978) and confirmed the latter in a personal communication with Dr R. Cressey. [details]Unreviewed

Habitat Normally found in calm waters, but can tolerate rough waters. Intertidal. ectoparasite found on Osmerus mordax and Salvelinus fontinalis. [details]
