Diagnosis Test elongate, narrow, a globular to ovate proloculus followed by narrow and elongate planispirally enrolled second chamber of onehalf to one coil in length, then with a few uncoiled and rectilinear pyriform to flasklike or elongate tubular chambers; wall calcareous, imperforate, porcelaneous, thick; aperture terminal and may be somewhat produced, ovate to slitlike, or infolding of the apertural rim in the later stage may produce a triradiate to cruciform opening.
