Diagnosis Test large, flattened, of numerous low and biserially arranged chambers, strongly overlapping in the plane of biseriality, sutures slightly depressed, chambers subdivided by numerous secondary septula that project downward from the chamber roof; wall thin, with coarsely agglutinated mineral grains, shell fragments, and entire tests of smaller foraminifera, finer-grained areas canaliculate; aperture in the adult consists of a series of areal pores in a row paralleling the flat sides of the test.
