Diagnosis Test attached, trochospiral, nearly conical, spiral side flat, about two slowly enlarging whorls, ten to twelve chambers in the final whorl, periphery acutely angled to carinate, then sloping steeply toward the umbilical shoulder, umbilicus broad and filled with clear calcite, sutures straight, oblique, and flush on the spiral side, curved and sinuate on the umbilical side; wall calcareous, perforate, hyaline, surface punctate; aperture an interiomarginal slit with narrow lip, near the peripheral margin.
