  1. Macrurus nasutus, synoniem van Coryphaenoides nasutus, Gunther, 1877. Macruridae Japan. – Diepzeezone (diepte: 630 meter; Op de bodem, bij Hyalonema; groen slib; temperatuur: 5oC.). – Totale lengte: 0,36 m. - Type specimen: British Museum. – Originele figuur, uitgevoerd onder leiding van M. G. A. Boulenger.
  2. Coilia nasus, Temminck en Schlegel, 1847. Clupeidae Japan. – Kustzone en estuarium. – totale lengte: 0,20 m. – Type soort: figuur van Temminck en Schlegel. – Volgens C. J. Temminck en H. Schlegel.
