Taxonomic remark Bryocamptus unisaetosus Kiefer, 1930and Bryocamptus typhlops (Mrázek, 1893) ) are two species considered distinct, although very close, even if a possible synonymy is mentioned. Synonymy has not been established with certainty, Lang (1948) regarded B. unisaetosus and B. typhlops as two distinct species. Damian-Georgescu (1970) listed these two species separately. Petkovski (1972) believed that B. unisaetosus fell within the variability range of B. typhlops. Defaye & Dussart (2011) noted Petkosvi's (1972) belief, but regarded  B. unisaetosus and B. typhlops as distinct species without any reasoning and at the same time commented that the synonymy of these two species should be verified when the male of B. unisaetosus is described. [details]
