New combination Ranga reddy et al. (1998) synonymized N. malaindonensis with N. botulifer (=Mongolodiaptomus botulifer), but Sanoamuang & Dabseepai (2021) recognized these two species as different and separated N. malaindonensis as Mongolodiaptomus malaindonensis. [details]
