Taxonomy Van Beneden 1892 described Caligera difficilis. Basset-Smith 1899 changed it to Alebion difficule to agree with the gender...  
Taxonomy Van Beneden 1892 described Caligera difficilis. Basset-Smith 1899 changed it to Alebion difficule to agree with the gender of Alebion. However, Alebion is the name of one of Neptune's sons and thus is masuline in gender. Therefore it should be Alebion difficilis. [details]
