Type material According to Banse (1971) the holotype (USNM 384) is a mounted specimen, complete and well preserved but very coiled, with somewhat more than 60 chaetigers and approximately 6.5 mm length. The paratypes include two smaller specimens mounted on the same slide with the holotype, four specimens on two other slides, and a vial with four specimens (USNM 45268), all apparently from the same site (Eastport) and year (1880).
