AB  - Among the heterogeneous group of sigalionid species originally assigned to <i>Leanira</i> Kinberg, 4 species are separated and referred to new genera: <i>Labioleanira</i> and <i>Labiosthenolepis</i>, both genera each with two new combinations, and there is also one junior synonym in <i>Labiosthenolepis</i>. These new genera are characterized by labial lobes on the lateral lips of the ventral mouth.
