Identification The identity of this species was not previously ascertained. It is obviously not a Halilcona (Reniera) because of the large size of the oxeas and the presence of long tracts of spicules independent of the unispicular reticulation. These features indicate membership of the the genus Cladocroces, but this must be confirmed by reexamination of the type specimen. [details]
