Homonymy Schroederella Laubier, 1962 is unavailable as a replaced (by Gesaschroederella Blake 2021) junior homonym to Schroederella Enderlein, 1921, nov. nom. for Schroederia Enderlein, 1914, in Insecta, Diptera, family Helomyzidae, published in 'Dipterologische Studien' Zoologisches Anzeiger 52:219-232.
Schroederella Laubier, 1962 is also junior to Schroederella Pavillard, 1913 (Kingdom Chromista; Phylum Ochrophyta). As Schroederella Pavillard is a name regulated under the Botanical Code, it has no effect on the validity of Schroederella Laubier. However, the Zoological Code 4th edition recommends botanical genus names should not be duplicated. [details]
