Diagnosis Hesiospina aurantiaca is identified by the presence of single, distally curved and pointed hooks, situated in the notopodia of median segments only (11–16 to 28–35). [details]
Distribution Widely distributed in cold and warm-temperate and tropical regions. Currently no records from the Indian Ocean, Africa or South America (may be a sampling or identification artefact). [details]
