Diagnosis Test free, elongate, early portion trochospiral, with four to five chambers per whorl, later triserial, biserial, and finally with a relatively long uniserial stage in the adult; wall finely agglutinated, canaliculate; aperture terminal, cribrate, consisting of elongate slits variously aligned in the center of the depressed apertural face, each slit bordered by a lip.
