Description Small, heavily calcified. Sub-quadrate to subrectangular. Anterior margin strongly asymmetrical with extremity below mid-height. Posterior margin convex with extremity below mid-height. Both margins denticulate. Dorsal margin straight to slightly concave, interrupted by ornament; strong anterior hinge ear in LV only. Ventral margin straight to slightly convex. Ventro-Iateral ridge strong, straight to slightly curved and terminated posteriorly by a short lateral spine, extending anteriorly to an extremely reduced, narrow and suppressed ocular ridge. Dorsal ridge irregular and interrupted by the angular termination of the vertical elements in the reticulum. Median ridge prominent in the posterior half with zig-zag course. Bridge extremely suppressed. Antero-dorsal valve surface flattened. Remainder of reticulum irregular with vertical elements most strongly emphasized; fossae with few horizontal secondary murae. Densely .and coarsely foveolate. Normal pore canals and internal details as for the genus. Slightly longer specimens may represent males. [details]
Diagnosis A small, thick-shelled species of Bradleya with an extremely suppressed ocular ridge and flattened antero-dorsal valve surface. Dorsal ridge formed by the angular terminations of the vertical elements of the reticulum. Remainder of reticulum low, muri narrow, fossae shallow. Coarsely and densely foveolate. Median ridge well developed in posterior half, with zig-zag course. [details]
