Dendraster excentricus (posterior)
Description Close-up of the posterior end: The club-shaped primary spines are very closely set, covering the whole test including the apical system and the petals (In the cente of the lowe edge). They prevent sand particles from falling onto the test surface. The spines around the margin are longer.
