Diagnosis Genus or regular echinoid with a monocyclic apical disc that incorporates numerous periproctal plates. Ambulacral tubercles no more than one-third the diameter of interambulacral tubercles on ambital plates. Ambulacral plating trigeminate, compound in acrosaleniid style from ambitus adapically. Scrobicular tubercles differentiated. [details]
