The genus Mufushanella was established by Chen Shu in 1964. The difference from Nankinela is that it has convex slope and foramen in outer volution. Whether the Mufushanella is tenable or not has been discussed by some people for a long time. It was the focus of the debate that whether the so-called foramen are actually septal pores. The specimens collected from Xainza area of Tibet have confirmed the presence of foramen in Mufushanella, which are not septal pores, so we suppose that Mufushanella is a distinct genus. Besides, in the specimens develops the acummulation of dark material between two foramen in outer volutions which recalls parachomata, and seems to be its embryonic form. And a new species Mufushanella nankinellaeformis sp. nov. was established.
