Two agglutinating species that lived under shallow and probably reducing conditions. L. kaeveri n. sp. is built of quartz grains oriented with their flat sides toward the surface which thus is smooth. L. bartensteini n. sp. is built of fine calcareous grains with coarse quartz grains incorporated into the outer surface of the wall.
