Pseudorbitoides yini Liu, a new species of pseudorbitoidal foraminifera is found in S Tibet. The Indian form 'Orbitocyclina ariyalurensis Rao' is also a species of Pseudorbitoides. Pseudorbitoides has been found in the Caribbean and its adjacent region, Mid-Pacific and New Guinea, but never in Eurasia previously. Its occurrence in Tibet and India is of great importance for the revision of the classification of the large foraminiferal global biogeographical province of the Late Cretaceous time. -from English summary
