Desmoinesian and Missourian fusulinids have long been considered quite distinct. The discovery of the new species Fusulina fallsensis in lower Missourian rocks associated with Wedekindellina ultimata extends the geologic range of the former genus. Other fusulinids from near this contact described in this paper include two new species of Oketaella, O. lenensis and O. oscurensis, one new species of Wedekindellina, W. ardmorensis, and one new species of Triticites, T. winterensis.
