Original description Test small, free, planoconvex, trochospiral, circular; periphery narrowly carinate, gently lobulate, acute; dorsal spiral side showing about three whorls of evolute, subcrescentic, noninflated chambers, gradually increasing in size; outer half of each chamber prominently perforate, inner half hyaline, finely perforate; dorsal sutures distinct, narrow, curved, almost flush, marginate; ventral side flat, involute, with small umbilical plug; chambers not strongly appressed; sutural reentrants not developed, spaces near plug alternating with blunt or tapering ends of chambers; ventral sutures radiate, slightly depressed; aperture at base of final chamber.
