Description Pararotalia tuberculifera (REUSS). Upper Santonian-Lower Campanian. 1, 7, 9-15, 18-20: axial and subaxial sections. Note the massive umbilical plug on the ventral side and the proeminent beads on the dorsal side. 2: Oblique oblique centered section inclined for about 45° in respect to the coiling axis of the shell. 3: oblique section almost perpendicular to the coiling axis, showing the ventral part of the septa with their interlocular space. 4, 8: centered oblique sections inclined to about 70° in repect to the coiling axis. 5: section inclined to about 20° in respect to the coiling axis. 6: section almost perpendicular to the coiling axis. 16: oblique section inclined to about 45°. 17: section perpendicular to the coiling axis. Note the straight and radial shape of the septa on the dorsal side of the shell. The section is at the level of the foramina with their lower lip thet represent the serrated edge of the toothplate. 21: Oblique section inclined for about 45°. Note the proeminent dorsal beads.
