Description Topotypes from the Sorrento peninsula (see Torre 1966), south of Naples, Italy; Late Cretaceous dated by association with Accordiella conica. (1–5) Sections more or less perpendicular to coiling axis. (6) Section tangential to the dorsal surface of the shell showing the backward inclina- tion of the chamber sutures. (7–22) Oblique sections with different low and large angles in respect to the coiling axis of the shell. (17) Centered section showing the proloculus. (22) Section parallel and close to the axial plane.
