:The foraminifera described in the present paper were collected from Scythian and Anisian in the Xuanhan, Wanyuan and Wancang Counties of Sichuan and the Zhenba County of Shaanxi. Since Triassic foraminifera in this region have been hitherto unknown, the present material might be of some biogeographical and biostratigraphical value. The Triassic strata in northeastern Sichuan and southern Shaanxi as shown by the sections from which the foraminifera were obtained are recognized as follows: Middle Triassic Anisian Leikoupo Formation This consists mainly of grey limestone and dolomitic limestone. The limestone yields Lituotuba sp. (from Renjiawan, Dukou, Xuanhan County, Sichuan) and Glomospira densa (Pantic) and Meandrospira dinaria Kochansky-Devide et Pantic (from Huafangzi, Jinxi, Wangcang County, Sichuan).
