AB  - 	Eighteen new foraminiferal species have been recorded from the subsurface Lower Paleozoic – Mesozoic rocks in the north western part of the Egyptian Western Desert. These agglutinated species belong to eight genera and five families of the suborder Texetulariina. Two of them were detected from the Ordovician, four from the Silurian and ten from the Devonian while the remaining two have been encountered from the Lower Jurassic and the Lower Cretaceous intervals. All of these species have been described, microphotographed and followed statigraphically throughout the studied succession.
