Description Archaediscoidea with a microgranular black wall dominant, and a subordinate inner hyaline pseudofibrous and yellow outer layer (Ammarchaediscinae = Planoarchaediscinae), or remaining important (Uralodiscinae). Test entirely involute, oscillant, sygmoidal to planispiral. Aperture terminal simple.
Occurrence. Visean (MFZ10)–Serpukhovian, probably cosmopolitan.
