Original description Diagnosis: Endotebidae with a typical, coiled initial part followed by a second stage Aperture simple basal becoming cribrate in the last chamber.
Comparison: Rectoendoteba n gen differs from Endoteba by the terminal uncoiled part; and from the uncoiled Endotebidae such as Endotebanella and Vachardella, by a short uncoiled part and a cribrate aperture limited to the last chamber Additionally, it differs from the Mississippian genera Mstinia Dain, 1953 and Ugurus Özdikmen, 2009 (= Mirifica Shlykova, 1969 preoccupied) by the type of wall and the shape of the chambers in the initial part.
Occurrence: Artinskian of the Carnic Alps, Sicily, Oman, Malaysia, Sumatra and Japan It will be interesting to re- find this taxon in the Near-East and Middle-East in order to define precisely the Artinskian paleogeography of these areas.
