Diagnosis Test subglobular, robust, planispiral, and involute, biumbilicate and bilaterally symmetrical, about seven to nine chambers in the final whorl, sutures straight and radial, later ones slightly depressed, with a row of sutural pores that is clearly visible in the later sutures, periphery broadly rounded; wall calcareous, thick, opaque, optically granular, very finely perforate, surface smooth; aperture interiomarginal, equatorial, a low slit extending to the umbilicus on both sides, with narrow bordering lip, intercameral foramen modified as a row of pores.
