Occurrence. Questionable in the late Famennian of northern France (Conil & Lys 1977, pl. 5, fig. 87). Rare in the late Tournaisian (MFZ7–MFZ8; Kalvoda 1982, pl. 3, fig. 2); present in the entire Visean (Pille 2008) and early Serpukhovian (Nikolaeva et al. 2009; Vachard et al. 2016). Distributed in Palaeotethys, Urals, Perigondwanan and South China shelves (Conil & Lys 1968; Pronina 1972; Termier et al. 1975; Vdovenko et al. 1993; Vdovenko 2001; Devuyst 2006; Nikolaeva et al. 2009; Hance et al. 2011).

Diagnosis Test attached to a narrow support or may be encrusting, consisting of a tubular undivided chamber that is irregularly enrolled, commonly streptospiral; wall thick, calcareous, microgranular with included agglutinated particles; aperture terminal, simple.
