Description Description: Tuberitinids characterized by a bilayered wall. The inner layer is similar to that of Eotuberitina; i.e., thin and dark microgranular; the outer thick layer is microgranular and probably coarsely perforate. The dark wall between the perforations is reduced to elongate, triangular (with the acute angle turn towards the inner layer), radiate beams. In this genus, only the tuberinitic stages are known.
Occurrence: Late Mississippian (Brigantian)–Permian, probably cosmopolitan.
(Vachard in Krainer et al. (2019)). [details]
