Diagnosis Test elongate, rectilinear, uniserial, proloculus followed by low discoidal overlapping chambers that enlarge gradually in diameter as added, septa extend inward for about onethird the test diameter and leave open an increasingly wide area of the central cavity, septa secondarily thickened and deflected downward at the inner margin, peripheral part of chamber lumen subdivided by radial partitions that are perpendicular to the outer wall and chamber roof, with shorter partitions intercalated between the longer ones; wall of two layers, an outer thin, radially striate hyaline layer that may not be preserved and an inner thick darker layer of fine-grained calcite; aperture rounded, terminal, bordered by a rim.
