Diagnosis Test nearly circular in outline, periphery broadly rounded, chambers one-half coil in length, early stage pseudotriloculine, later cryptoquinqueloculine with only three chambers visible from the exterior and a tendency for the final pair of chambers to be in the same plane, chambers without a floor; wall calcareous, porcelaneous; aperture a low slit with a distinctly crenulate margin and may have a low miliolinellid tooth or this may be lacking.
