Diagnosis Test elongate, ovate to palmate in outline, flattened, sides flat, periphery truncate, ovate proloculus followed by two to four pairs of biserially arranged chambers with strongly oblique sutures, later chambers uniserial, rectilinear, low, broad, and chevron shaped, periphery with a thickened carina at each of the four angles; wall calcareous, finely perforate, surface smooth; aperture a terminal slit.
