Diagnosis Test elongate, early stage triserial, later uniserial, chambers broad, low, and closely appressed, test triangular throughout but with rounded angles, sutures flush, arched on the flat sides and curved back at the angles; wall calcareous, finely perforate, surface smooth; aperture terminal, rounded, elevated on a neck and bordered with a phialine lip.
