Synonymy Kaminski (2000): "Lupertosinnia differs from Praestorrsella in having a porcellaneous rather than hyaline wall. Additionally, in Lupertosinnia, the inner alveolar structure is comprised of thin layers connected by perpendicular canals, whereas in Praestorrsella the inner structure is comprised mainly of pillers."
Consorti (2022, pers. comm.): "The shell wall of Lupertosinnia appears much as lamellar perforated, sometimes -in the material of Farinacci- barely micritized, which is maybe the reason why the author gets confused in evaluating the shell texture (porcelaneous or finely agglutinated instead of lamellar perforated). Moreover, in my point of view, the 'perpendicular canals' of Lupertosinnina can be interpreted as related to the 'pillers' (=umbilical piles=border of vertical canals in rotalioids); a typical Praestorrsella feature that is what one can see looking at the umbilical area of a perfect axial section." [details]

Synonymy Among the genera included in the family (Kaminski 2014), it is significant to highlight that the species Lupertosinnia pallinii Farinacci should be considered a full junior synonym of Praestorrsella roestae (Visser) (order Rotaliida) and therefore excluded from the Nezzazatidae [details]
