Diagnosis Test a small cone with flattened base, adult chambers uniserial, low, and discoidal, interior divided by radial partitions or beams that are thin near the outer wall and thicken toward the axial region, becoming undulating or wedgelike until they anastomose inward with the adjacent beams, short secondary beams intercalated between the primary ones in the peripheral region, but no intracameral horizontal partitions present; aperture consists of scattered pores on the base of the test.
