Original description Test free, calcareous, small, planoconvex, cone-shaped, periphery acute nonlobulate; convex side evolute, numerous whorls of small chambers gradually slowly increasing in size showing no inflation with only five last formed whorl; wall smooth thin, in part finely perforated, a prominent band of coarser pores decorate the outer margin of last formed whorl of chambers with inner part of each of these chambers being translucent; sutures dorsally narrow flush to slightly depressed at margin, oblique angular to curved; ventral side involute, flat side smooth semihyaline perforated; sutures radiate sinuous, sutural reentrants prominent umbilical flaps small closing the umbilicus but depressed slits of sutures indicate circulation; aperture at base of last formed chamber interiomarginal.
