Original description Translation from the Russian (Ellis and Messina). - Test discoidal, planispiral, evolute. Initial whorls low, broad, width of tube in first whorls less than or equal to the proloculus diameter. Height of subsequent whorls rapidly increases. Umbonal depressions deep, trapezoidal, with stepped sides.
Diameter of test 1.1 mm., height 0.46 mm. Proloculus 155 microns. Height of tube 0.21 mm. Number of whorls 4,5-5.
Wall granular, 42-45 microns thick.
Aperture is the open end of the tube.
Comparison. - Closest to Tournayella moelleri Malakhova, differing by the greater size of the proloculus, the greater height of the test, and the less high tube. [details]
