Porthoustock

Administrative Port: Newlyn
County: Cornwall

Porthoustock is a hamlet in Cornwall, England, and is situated on the east coast of the Lizard Peninsula. Its main industry is aggregates, which are quarried nearby. Coastal trading ships of up to 82 metres (269 feet) can dock alongside a specially-built wharf which is along the southern edge of the beach to be loaded with stone. Additionally, there is a small fleet of fishing boats which operate out of Porthoustock.[1]
