Homonymy Lysippe is valid by ICZN ruling, although a homonym. The senior homonym, Lysippe Kinahan in Crustacea was not in use and also would have had priority over an subsequent crustacean genus name. It is not in Nomenclator Zoologicus. "RULING : (1) Under the Plenary Powers, (a) the generic name Lysippe Kinahan, 1858 (Class Crustacea, Order Decapoda) is hereby suppressed for the purposes both of the Law of Priority and of the Law of Homonymy; and (b) the name Lysippe Malmgren, 1865 (Class Polychaeta) is hereby validated."
