Nipponnemertes fernaldi, new species, is described as a member of the order Hoplonemertea, suborder Monostilifera. In general morphology, it appears to be most closely related to the genus Nipponnemertes (family Cratenemertidae) and the new species is placed in this genus. The significant characters are explained and discussed.
