Ninety-four ostracode species and subspecies, originating from the Lower Cretaceous strata of Israel and Sinai, belonging to 41 genera, are recorded. Most of them are illustrated by SEM photographs. Thirty new species and one subspecies were established. Remarks as well as complementary descriptions pertaining to existing species, resulting from observation of the Israeli material, are also given. Seven assemblage zones, based on ostracode distribution, were recognized. These zones, as well as their suggested ages and environments of deposition are listed
