Etymology authors: Capitella maculosa "is derived from the Latin maculosus, meaning “spotted.” This
was chosen for the unique spotting along the abdomen." [details]
Status Publication of Code-requirements for nomenclature only in electronic supplements, even supplements split into several files, as done for Capitella maculosa , is not prevented by the current Code. However, it is generally thought that nomenclature only in an MSWord file as done here does not comply with Article 8.1.3.2 which specifies that electronic copies must have fixed [immutable] content and layout.
