Etymology Terebellides papillosa (should be 'papillosus') is named for the "unusual number of papillae on thoracic segments." [details]
Spelling For gender agreement Terebellides papillosa should be T. papillosus. This genus is masculine but several species have been given feminine adjectival species names previously. [details]
