Etymology authors: Mesomyzostoma lobus is named "from Latin, lobus, referring to the lobate nature of the specimens." [details]
Spelling Mesomyzostoma is a neuter genus, but the spelling of the masculine noun 'lobus' is correct as a noun in apposition. [details]
