Etymology "The specific name refers to the arrangement of paragnaths in Area VI of the complex" (Hutchings & Turvey, 1982: 116). The epithet uniseriata is composed by the Latin prefix uni-, meaning 'one', and the Latin adjective seriata, meaning 'seriate' or 'arranged in serial order', and refers to the paragnaths of Area VI being disposed in an oblique arc continuous with V and VIII. Habitat Amongst algal holdfasts, coralline algae, crevice fauna, and sand, intertidal to shallow water. [details]
