Etymology The species is named in honour of Dr. Shi-Kuei Wu, "who pioneered taxonomic studies of nereidids in Taiwan" (Glasby & Hsieh, 2006: 568). [details]
Habitat Intertidal, under rocks in sand and mud. [details]
Type locality Chuwei, Tanshui Estuary, Taipei Co., Taiwan, Taiwan Strait (25°08'N, 121°26'E; provided geolocation slightly displaced, estimated here to be approximately 25.1365°, 121.4578°). [details]
