None. Begins: "In 1887 F. E. Beddard established the genus Thamnodrilus for Th. gulielmi from British Guiana (Proc. Zool. SOCL. ondon, 1887). As it was not customary at that time to lay stress on the internal structure of the chylous pouches (calciferous glands) in the diagnosis of earthworms, Beddard gave only a superficial description of them. Later on I showed that the internal structure of these organs was actually a principal point to characterize the different genera of the family Glossoscolecidae, to which Thamnodrilus belongs (1917, p. 47). I am now able to fill in the gap, as, through the friendly mediation of Mr. C. C. A. Monro, the British Museum sent me for examination one of the type-specimens of Th. gulielmi."
