[introduction (translated): "In one of the last study trips made by Dr. Eduardo Caballero y C., I visit and explore the coast of Veracruz and the Isla de Sacrificios. The result of his collections were some specimens of interesting species of polychaete annelids that he gave us for study. Among them are several individuals of the Dasychone bairdi M'Intosh, the species referred to in this note. We thank Dr. Caballero for providing us with such interesting study material.
